This Return and Refund Policy gives an explanation of how returns and refunds are handled on materials and services supplied by Merci Landscaping. Since landscaping is a personalized planning, onsite labor and use of natural products, returns and refunds handled are restricted on the circumstances and the project development phase.Β Β
Services and Custom Work
Most landscaping services are planned and carried out specifically for each client. For this reason:
- Completed services are not eligible for return or refund.
- Work already performed, including design, preparation, installation, or maintenance, cannot be reversed once delivered. Β Β
Materials and Supplies
Where materials of plants, soil, stone or other landscaping materials are supplied:
- The materials that have been installed or put into use on-site are ineligible to be returned. Β
- Unused materials may be eligible for return only if they are in original condition and approved by the supplier. Β
- Any restocking, transport, or supplier fees will be deducted from the refund amount. Β Β Β
Plants and Natural Products
Environmental conditions affect plants and natural materials, which we have no control over.
- Differences in growth or color or looks are natural and cannot be refunded or returned.
- Plant post-installation health is determined by watering, care, and location. There will be no refunds or returns in case of plant failure caused by weather, pests or poor maintenance. Β Β Β Β
Cancellations and Refund Eligibility
If a project or service is cancelled: Β
- Refunds depend on whether work has started or materials have been ordered.
- Costs already incurred for labor, planning, or materials will be deducted.
- Once work has started, refunds are generally not available.
Incorrect or Damaged Materials
If materials supplied by Merci Landscaping are incorrect or arrive damaged:
- The issue must be reported within a reasonable time after delivery.
- We will assess the situation and may replace the material or offer a refund where appropriate.
Delays and External Factors
Delays caused by weather conditions, site access issues, safety concerns, or other factors outside our control do not qualify for returns or refunds. In such cases, services will be rescheduled when conditions allow. Β
Third-Party Costs
Returns and refunds do not apply to third-party costs such as permits, delivery charges, or supplier fees already paid on the clientβs behalf.
Approved Refunds
Any refund approved by Merci Landscaping will be processed using the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary depending on financial institutions or payment providers.
